listening to the latest work of schntzl feels like following a digitized Pied Piper blowing its MIDI penny whistle. wandering a Minecraft-like parallel universe, you’re visiting the town village to buy a weird cure to find yourself right after as in the middle of an epic Olympic Games advertising from the 80s. there are moments in their music that may sounds like elevator music, but there are elevators to space, the stars and beyond : we sure don’t know much about jazz but we can definitely tell you when a band is exploring exhilarating new lands.
